Beta Psi Foundation
The Beta Psi Foundation promotes, encourages and supports educational activities for the Beta Psi Chapter of the Sigma Chi Fraternity by both awarding scholarships and student aid and developing future leaders. All contributions to the Beta Psi Foundation, including the Annual Fund, are tax-deductible and are managed by the Finance Committee of the Beta Psi Foundation and invested in accordance to the Committee’s investment policy statement.
We are a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. A copy of our IRS determination letter is available upon request.

Disbursements Committee
The Disbursements Committee is responsible for awarding financial aid and scholarships to recognize and encourage outstanding academic achievement and leadership development among the active members, candidates for membership and affiliates of the Chapter.

Finance Committee
The Finance Committee is responsible for planning, overseeing, and managing the financial affairs of the Foundation; for reviewing and providing guidance to the Foundation’s Board regarding all such affairs; and for assuring the existence of such internal controls, independent audit functions, and financial analysis activities as are perceived as being appropriate for the Foundation, giving due regard to the level of financial assets being held at any given time for the benefit of the Foundation.

Foundation Relations Committee
The Foundation Relations Committee is responsible for internal and external public relations for the Foundation. The Foundation Relations Committee is also responsible for the promotion of Foundation activities and events, communication with external groups such as the International Fraternity, Beta Psi Alumni, and the Chapter and the recruitment of new Foundation Board members.

The Fundraising Committee is responsible for developing fundraising activities and programs designed to meet the investment and disbursement goals of the Foundation.

Beta Psi Foundation Trustees Emeritus
The Beta Psi Foundation Trustee Emeritus are past Trustees for the Foundation. The Foundation continues to recognize these Brothers for their distinguished service and good standing to the Foundation, and utilize them as resources to the Board. The Trustee Emeritus provide continued experience , knowledge, and wisdom that is contributed to the Board.

Beta Psi Chapter Advisor
The Chapter Advisor is an alumni that serves as the primary advisor to the Chapter. The Chapter advisor can enlist other alumni to assist in needs and guidance to the Chapter. The Foundation works with the Chapter Advisor to structure its mission and programs to fulfill needs at the Chapter provided that such needs are within the guidelines of the Foundation.

Undergraduate Officers (Beta Psi Chapter)
The Chapter is the undergraduate body of Brothers, pledges and other affiliates. It is the organization that is central to all of the other groups.

Beta Psi Council
The Beta Psi Council is charged with fostering brotherhood among alumni and undergraduate Brothers. It fulfills its mission and purpose by hosting various social and networking activities with alumni and the undergraduate Chapter. By keeping alumni engaged with each other and the undergraduate Chapter, an active pool of alumni are available to volunteer with the Beta Psi support groups.

Beta Psi House Corporation
The Beta Psi House Corporation is the entity that owns the Chapter House and is the chapter’s landlord. It it is charged with the operations and maintenance of the Chapter House.
